February of 2012 Reverend Grier was called to Progressive M. B. Church Rockford, IL, as he was one of top candidates for the senior pastoral position. Reverend Grier continued to preach the gospel expressing the importance to love one another.  In November of 2018 Reverend Grier was given a new assignment to True Spirit Baptist Church in Colorado Springs, CO. 

 Rev. Walter L. Bowers Jr., Esq., (Pastor Walt) is the Senior Pastor of Chosen City Church. He previously served as the Executive Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC, under the leadership of  Senior Pastor, Dr. Leonzo Lynch.  In this role, he assisted the Senior Pastor and the church in achieving its mission by pastoring the congregation at Steele Creek, and overseeing ministry operations.  He is married to the beautiful Tiffany Holloway Bowers and is the proud father of three handsome (triplet) sons: Jonah, Jacob, and Joshua.
